SCIENCE OF RELATIONSHIP

Of course I am not George S. Pransky who provides a handbook for the subject! But, I am glad to remind all about the very basic fundamentals of relationship as what we can observe in Mother Nature herself.

Easy as it seems – though often misunderstood, men are mischievously searching for the ABSOLUTE answer on how to make better relationship – which to their dismayed, will never be found regardless of how hard one’s try!

So, what does an atomic bonding has to do with the matter of relationship? Peculiar as it may be, but it does make sense as we peep into how the mechanism works in our society.

Take WATER (scientifically, H2O) for example. The most crucial need men ever needed alongside with the air. One molecule of water has two hydrogen atoms covalently bonded to a single oxygen atom.

In this concept, our community is likening to this covalently bonded water molecule which consists of positively charged hydrogen and negatively charged oxygen atoms.

In my view, this is how our society should work. Undoubtedly, there must be some negative and positive values in a society that differentiate it from one another. This is what I called quality of uniqueness. Like the sub-atomic particles which lie inside the element, the term society itself stands hollow when it is purely made of only single sided groups i.e. there shall be affirmation and opposition that makes up a just society.

In the micro level of relationship among individual, one should be compatible to each other provided that one is able to adapt. When negatively & positively charged particles collide, the result is just as beautiful as a neutral brand new hybrid consisting both elements with new features. I’m not referring to the bad guys=negatively charged particles here, what I’m trying to say is, negatively charged particles=less positive values.

To develop a relationship, one must be able to adapt to their surrounding and intrinsically learn what they are lacking of from somebody else. For example, average students should befriend with the head-up & the less able shall be given the opportunity to have the same rights as their counterparts. You simply can’t let a blind to direct a blind because at the end of the day, both might fall into a pit! Also, as can be seen in Nature, positively charged particles repel each other. Meaning, one needs others in order to sail this fragile life. As Neils A. Armstrong (my fav.) said "no man is an island..."

Generally, I think the saying of the “birds of the same feathers, flock together” should be revisited that men should alert what's it that Mother Nature crave to tell.

Till the next posting.
